Truth Is The Cure For Everything*
A letter to Shawna, by Tom Rhodes
Once upon a time, a woman named Shawna went to her doctor with some medical concerns. And her doctor became interested in testing her for cancer. But if she were to test positive, she discovered, the treatment options are quite ominous…
Surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy are the only options that medical doctors in the United States are allowed to offer their cancer patients. And yet, these treatments have an abysmal record of failure. The overwhelming majority of those who undergo orthodox cancer treatments do not survive, long term. In fact, one PhD who studied cancer for two decades estimated that a person’s cancer survival outlook is four times better if they refuse orthodox treatments and have absolutely no treatment for their cancer![1] “It’s euthanasia,” an oncology nurse in Kansas City once told me. “You come to us with cancer, and we kill you.” And yet, there are several simple cancer-fighting methods that have no negative side-effects, including one that's shown itself to be 90% effective (or more). But medical doctors in the United States are not allowed to administer them!
What’s going on here?
In order to understand, let’s take a quick look at the Big Picture.
Freedom From Disease
The United States has always been considered a free country, even long before it freed its slaves and long before it gave women the right to vote. But it should be self-evident that true freedom knows nothing of prejudice. And it should also be self-evident that true freedom is freedom of thought. However, in all of recorded history no government in this world has ever granted generic freedom of thought to the people that it governs. And this is why battles have waged without end, both inside and outside of courtrooms, as various groups have had to fight for their freedoms. But some freedoms have had no organized group to fight for them. And that’s one reason why there is no freedom of medicine in the United States of America.
Freedom of medicine wasn’t written into the U.S. Constitution. And this has enabled men of wealth and power to institutionalize a monopoly over medical materials and methods and the huge profits that they generate. As a result, I can be arrested and jailed if I were to treat disease afflicted people, provide treatment materials, or even provide treatment information, no matter how effective. Therefore, in order to avoid violating any laws I am required by law to inform you that the information I provide here is given as information only, and is not meant to treat a disease. And I am required by law to advise you to consult a licensed medical doctor before adopting any treatment options that you might consider through your own use of reason. And with that having been said, here are some facts that I have learned through my advanced spiritual education:
There is ultimately no true law other than Love. “God is Love,” as are we.[2] Love is literally our very Being. And Love is ultimately the only Truth. However, you and I are currently experiencing the illusion that there are other “truths.” Therefore, our mission in this world of illusions is to learn to discern Truth through our own personal use of reason. And no one can do that for you. However, I’m glad to share some of my personal experiences that bear witness.
I healed myself of a severely enlarged prostate that I believe was cancerous without ever seeing a doctor. And I accomplished this by adopting an alkaline-forming diet that is primarily vegetarian, with one meal each day of nothing but raw vegetables; a large salad and a glass of raw carrot juice. God delivered this healing information to me with perfect timing, and in such a way that I knew exactly where it was coming from. And it worked like a charm. Because, as we shall see, cancer simply cannot exist in an alkaline environment.
Around the same time that my healing took place, a woman who I would later become acquainted with was diagnosed by her doctor with both Addison’s Disease and Grave’s Disease.[3] Over time I saw that she lost a considerable amount of weight, and her eyes began protruding from her skull. This woman is a registered nurse. And when she and I began dating I learned that her doctor had at one point given her but one year to live. But after hearing my story she decided to adopt my dietary practices. And after just three months on the alkaline-forming diet, all of her test results were perfectly normal. She continued to follow an improved diet, and today, over ten years later, she is still doing fine.
I eventually met a man who had cancer of the lymph nodes, and his doctor had given him but a couple of years to live. Dan was impressed by my story, but it soon became apparent that he wasn’t willing to change his diet. So, I told him about another method that I use to alkalize my body, which I arrived at from a high school chemistry class lesson that taught me how sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) neutralizes any acid. I simply put a half-teaspoon of baking soda in four ounces of water and drink it before I go to bed. Dan adopted this habit, but increased his dosage to a teaspoon of baking soda twice a day since he had active cancer. And in just four months his astounded doctor pronounced him entirely cancer free! Now, Dan was extremely fortunate, and here’s why:
Over the past ten years I have known five people who were dead within six months of taking their doctors’ advice of radiation and/or chemotherapy. However, Dan had abstained from any such treatments, because his oncologist had honestly admitted that he was best off with neither. “It’s illegal to cure cancer in the United States,” Dan’s doctor told him. “You have to go to Europe if you want to be cured.” But Dan didn’t have to go to Europe. And neither does Shawna.
When Shawna told her doctor about some of this, he told her: “Listen; I’m offering you science. They’re talking about magic!” But in fact, Shawna’s doctor has this entirely backwards. For it would surely be magic if you could cure the body of cancer by poisoning the body with radiation or chemotherapy drugs, which are themselves carcinogens (cancer causing agents)! And medical science does not claim that chemotherapy or radiation will cure cancer, because they know they will not. However, medical science has long known that cancer cannot exist in an alkalized body, as we shall see in a moment. So, let’s take a little journey of discovery to get some insight into why doctors of medicine aren’t taught this fact.
True Medical Science
Although the word “doctor” means teacher, most medical doctors do very little teaching; that’s not what they are taught to do. Nor are today’s doctors of medicine given any meaningful training concerning the nutritional needs of the human body. This is totally irrational. And it’s entirely deceptive to make people think that health comes from unnatural means. So, let’s educate ourselves in order to root out the deception. And let’s start by visiting a couple of men; one name that most of us are familiar with, and one name that we should be familiar with, but are not.
Louis Pasteur and Doctor Antoine Béchamp knew each other in 19th century France. And although Pasteur came to be hailed as “one of the greatest scientists who ever lived,” Béchamp, not Pasteur, was the true scientific genius. And in fact, Pasteur literally stole all of his true information concerning microorganisms from Béchamp. (This is well-documented, as I explain in my book The Holy Grail is Found.) However, Pasteur also added his own false ideas to the body of work that he stole; false ideas that the modern medical establishment continues to honor to this day, although science has proved them wrong time and again![4]
Béchamp understood that healthy body cells can become pathogenic cells when their environment becomes compromised through violations of natural law that include faulty diet and poor sanitation. And he understood that when pathogenic cells from outside the body are able to make the human body their home, it’s only because those same violations of natural law have provided them with a welcoming environment. These simple facts, given to us by a true scientific genius long ago, outline the true cause and effect mechanism of disease. However . . .
Those who held political power over medical science in the nineteenth century chose to ignore Béchamp and instead chose to honor Pasteur and his flawed germ theory of disease, which portrays diseases as outside invaders that overpower healthy bodies. And they had strong motivation to do so. Because, this takes the responsibility for preventing and treating disease out of the hands of the common man, and puts the responsibility, power, and profit in their hands; they who have the approved “medicines” and methods.
This motivational factor remains intact today. Therefore, modern medicine continues to pursue this same path, even after medical science discovered that cancer cells, for example, aren’t outside invaders, but occur when the body’s own healthy cells mutate into pathogenic cells.[5] And modern medicine continues to concentrate its efforts on trying to kill the mutated cells (the effect) rather than attacking the disease at its cause, which would require that they teach the patient to correct the faulty environment that gave rise to the cell mutations.
This choice is not driven by science, which is why it is unsuccessful. And any good scientist should know that the sure way to sabotage the scientific method is to address effects rather than causes. So, those who profit by “seeking but not finding” a cure for cancer know precisely how to do it. On the other hand, medical science has long known that the bodies of cancer patients are invariably suffering from an acidic condition (known as acidosis). They know that cancer is acidic, they know that cancer is acid-forming, and they know that cancer requires the oxygen-starved environment that acidosis supplies.[6] Therefore, it follows that the scientific cure for cancer is obvious: alkalize the body.
"It should be understood that the connection of acidosis to cancer has been well defined by medical researchers, and the fact that cancers do not do well when the acid is removed is well understood by today’s cancer researchers. In fact, one of the leading cancer researchers in America, when asked by a significant cancer researcher, a friend of mine who had seen his prostate cancer disappear after . . . reduc(ing) his acidosis and rais(ing) his body fluid pH, explained that, 'Of course, everyone knows that cancer cannot survive in an alkalai.' When then asked the obvious question, 'Then why don’t you just make the body alkaine?,' he responded, 'We just don’t know how to do this.' Of course, the 'we' refers to orthodox medicine, which has little or no training in nutrition."

Orthodox medicine actually knows precisely how to alkalize the body quickly and efficiently, and without even addressing the diet. They do it every day in emergency trauma situations: with baking soda! Sodium bicarbonate solution IV’s are a staple of emergency room and paramedic emergency treatment, Mark Sircus explains in his book Sodium Bicarbonate: Nature’s Unique First Aid Remedy. He also points out the fact that they administer the intravenous baking soda solution with cancer chemotherapy treatments in order to try and neutralize some of the extreme acidity of the chemotherapy chemicals, which would otherwise kill the patient rather quickly!
Instead, they kill the patient slowly. For, after all, chemotherapy chemicals originated with the mustard gas of chemical warfare. Yes, they were born of the desire to kill people.
Science isn’t science when it seeks profit rather than Truth. And modern medical “science” would lose billions of dollars if cancer were to disappear! So they won’t cure your cancer with simple and harmless alkalization. And they won’t inform you that you can prevent cancer in precisely the same manner.
"There is no disease whose prime cause is better known, so that today ignorance is no longer an excuse that one cannot do more about prevention of cancer. . . But how long prevention will be avoided depends on how long the prophets of agnosticism will succeed in inhibiting the application of scientific knowledge in the field of cancer. In the meantime millions of men and women must die of cancer unnecessarily."

When Dan’s doctor learned that his patient had cured himself with baking soda, he was shocked. Dan explained to him why the baking soda solution works, and his doctor said, “That makes sense.” However, neither Dan’s oncologist nor any other AMA-certified doctor is free to share this simple treatment with his patients; his medical license would be revoked. There is no freedom of medicine in this country, and licensed medical doctors are required by law to prescribe only highly-expensive, highly-dangerous, and often far-worse-than-ineffective AMA-approved treatments that include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. And instead of prescribing harmless and effective baking soda, certified medical doctors are required to watch as most of their cancer patients (including young children) suffer and die.
When I told one man about my baking soda treatment he replied, “Aunt Gladys always used to drink a teaspoon of baking soda in water at night before bed, and she lived to be ninety-six years old.” This surprised me and led me to do some research. And I discovered that the oral baking soda solution has long been known to prevent and cure colds and flus, and this information was published in 1924 by the Arm and Hammer baking soda company.[8]
Although cancer can be conquered with baking soda in the short term, nothing replaces nutrition in the long term. And concerning the alkaline-forming diet that God gave me, years later I would learn that this was the same basic diet that was used to cure cancer by an Austrian medial doctor who immigrated to the United States in 1936; Doctor Max Gerson (1881-1959).
Doctor Gerson documented his method in a book entitled A Cancer Therapy: Results of Fifty Cases and the Cure of Advanced Cancer by Diet Therapy. However, instead of being celebrated for finding a cure for cancer he was persecuted for promoting a cure that wasn’t seen as profitable by the medical establishment. And he was poisoned with arsenic.
It has been well-documented how Max Gerson’s method of cancer cure has been, and continues to be, aggressively suppressed. In his 1962 book Censured for Curing Cancer: the American Experience of Dr. Max Gerson, author S. J. Haught, an investigative reporter, tells how he began his investigation of Dr. Gerson in order to expose a “quack,” and instead discovered a grand conspiracy to suppress an effective cure for cancer that was found by a genius.

So, Shawna, hopefully you can see why doctors of medicine offer you magic, black magic, rather than the scientific cure for cancer. Radiation and chemotherapy are not unlike something that evil witches might have used had it been available to them. But evil is nothing more than ignorance. On the other hand, true science, like true religion, seeks Truth; not money.
The word doctor means teacher. However, God blesses some people with deep insight and understanding, which no University can teach. And only you can decide who will teach you.

This disease is also called hypoadrenalism or hypocortisolism. Grave’s Disease is an autoimmune disease of the endocrine system that is characterized by an overactive thyroid gland that produces too much thyroid hormone. This disease is also called hyperthyroidism.
[4] False ideas that originated with Pasteur and that modern medical science still officially honors (though they are proven untrue) include the errors that blood is sterile, that the cell is the smallest component of physical life, and that microorganisms are monomorphic (unchanging). Béchamp knew better concerning all of these issues. For example, Béchamp understood microorganisms to be pleomorpohic, which means they have the ability to change form in order to adapt to their environment. This knowledge leads to a correct understanding of the nature of disease, which modern orthodox medicine lacks. And this is why diseases that range from the common cold to cancer have yet to be conquered.

UPDATE: Shawna, the subject of this article, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She decided to reject doctor-prescribed treatments in favor of the baking soda regimen. And in March of 2016 Shawna was pronounced cancer free by her oncologist.
